The Saudi Aquaculture Society participated in the national festival of heritage and culture “Janadriyah 33” within the booth of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture. The aim was to introduce the quality mark of the national Aquaculture products “SAMAQ” and to increase awareness on the local aquaculture industry and its high quality products. Relevant information material was disseminated to visitors by SAMAQ male and female representatives, who stressed the importance of eating Seafood and its positive impact on the health. Information was also provided on how to best select and choose the fresh and safe national products from the options available in the market.
The booth received many visitors and people showed increased interest towards the SAMAQ certified products and the points of sale.
