A workshop was held to label farmed products with the Saudi Quality Mark SAMAQ in Riyadh on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, with the participation of a representative of the Agricultural Development Fund in Inland Waters on the role of the Fund in supporting and financing aquaculture projects. On the sidelines of the workshop, a memorandum of joint cooperation was signed between the Saudi Aquaculture Society and the National Aquaculture Society with the aim of enhancing joint cooperation between the two parties. Also, during the workshop, aquaculture projects in inland waters were honored and given a SAMAQ certificate for applying the best aquaculture practices in the Kingdom.
